Welcome to Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten! We are thrilled your child will be joining us in the North Bend School District. Kindergarten is a year of wonder, joy, friendship, and learning. We are excited to take this journey with you and your child! 

North Bend offers a tremendous kindergarten program. Our knowledgeable and child-centered teachers have created inclusive, welcoming, and vibrant learning communities that value the languages, lived experiences and unique contributions of each child. Our curriculum inspires children to think, question, and investigate their curiosities. Children are given big chunks of time to explore projects of interest through play. These experiences foster engagement, a sense of belonging, and a deep love of learning. 

Registration

Any child who will be five (5) years of age on or before September 1, is eligible to enroll for Kindergarten at their designated neighborhood school.

We use an online registration system. To complete the process, be ready to supply the following information. You can start the process even if you don’t have all of this information:

• Parent or legal guardian information

• Information about emergency contacts

• Certificate of immunization

• Birth verification

• Proof of Address

After submitting the online form, the school will contact you to complete the process. 

If you are uncertain about which elementary school is your home school, you can check any address to see what elementary school attendance boundary your address is located in using the interactive map of our attendance line.

New family to our District

If you are new to our District, you will need to create a ParentVue account to start the registration process. Please click on the following link to start the process of creating your parent account to then moving on to the registration process. Once on the page, click More Options and select Create a New Account. New Parent Registration Portal

Returning family to our District

Simply login to your ParentVue account to start the registration process. Once logged in, there will be a button in the upper right hand corner called Online Registration. Click on that button to begin the registration process. If you have forgotten your password, just click on the Forgot Password link. If you no longer have access to the email account you used, please call the school office to have your email address updated.
